Hahnel Giga T Pro II 2.4GHz Wireless Timer Remote for Nikon and Available For Canon

About this item

Precision Engineering: Hähnel Giga T Pro II Wireless Timer Remote The Hähnel Giga T Pro II is an essential tool for creators looking to master the art of time-lapse and precision long-exposure photography. Moving beyond a basic remote, the Giga T Pro II serves as a comprehensive “brain” for your camera’s shutter. By moving the triggering mechanism off-camera, it eliminates the micro-vibrations that can ruin high-resolution landscape and macro shots. Its 2.4GHz digital frequency ensures a robust connection that works through walls and around obstacles, giving you the freedom to monitor your shoot from a distance. Advanced Programming and Interval Timing The standout feature of the Giga T Pro II is its fully programmable interface. The transmitter allows you to set specific delays, choose the exact length of your exposures (perfect for light painting or astrophotography), and define the interval between shots. You can even set the total number of exposures to be captured, making it the perfect companion for creating high-quality time-lapse videos. All settings are displayed on a clear, backlit LCD screen, ensuring you can adjust your parameters in total darkness without fumbling. Versatile Control Modes Despite its advanced timing features, the Giga T Pro II remains a highly capable standard remote. The shutter button mimics your camera’s own, providing a half-press for autofocus and a full press for the shot. It seamlessly handles continuous shooting and features a dedicated “Bulb” mode lock for manual long exposures. For photographers managing complex sets, the channel selector allows you to trigger specific cameras without interfering with other wireless gear nearby. Modular Compatibility and Reliability Hähnel has designed the Giga T Pro II to grow with your gear. It comes supplied with interchangeable cable connectors, meaning a single remote can work across various camera models within the same brand—and even between Nikon and Canon systems with the appropriate cables. The transmitter is powered by a long-lasting CR2032 battery, while the receiver utilizes a high-capacity CR2 Lithium battery to ensure it can withstand long shooting sessions in the cold. Compact, rugged, and incredibly smart, the Giga T Pro II is the definitive choice for the technical photographer.
