Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Trollu — the application or this website — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Trollu is operated by Carto Lebanon (“Company”).
2. Services
Trollu is a marketplace that connects customers with shops in Lebanon. We are an intermediary. The shops listed are independent businesses, and the products offered are theirs, not ours.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to buy in age-restricted categories.
4. Orders and payment
When you place an order you enter into a contract with the shop. Trollu facilitates the order, the shipment and the payment. Prices are set by the shop and may change. Depending on the shop and your country, payment may be made by card or in cash to the courier on delivery.
5. Shipping
Shipments in Lebanon are collected from the shop and delivered by Aramex. Delivery times are estimates: they depend on the shop’s preparation, the courier’s schedule and your address. Neither Trollu nor the shop guarantees a delivery date.
6. Cancellations and returns
An order can be cancelled before the shop has handed the parcel to the courier. Where you have paid in advance, a refund for a cancelled order is returned to the original payment method. If a parcel arrives incomplete, incorrect or damaged, contact us through the app with a photograph.
7. The shops’ responsibilities
Shops are independent businesses, responsible for the quality, safety, legality and description of what they sell. Trollu does not inspect stock and does not guarantee any shop’s products.
8. Prohibited conduct
- Providing false information
- Harassing shops, couriers or other customers
- Using the platform for an unlawful purpose
- Attempting to avoid platform fees
- Reselling a shop’s products without their authorisation
9. Intellectual property
The Trollu name, logo and software are owned by the Company. A shop’s own content — its product photographs, titles and descriptions — belongs to that shop.
10. Limitation of liability
Trollu is not liable for the quality or safety of a shop’s products, for delays caused by a courier or by events outside our control, for a shop’s business practices, or for a dispute between a customer and a shop beyond our role in facilitating it.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use Trollu after a change means you accept the updated terms.
